Long Delite is a 160-acre, 185-year-old family farm owned by Brooks and Katie Long. A seventh generation operation, this pasture-based dairy farm is proud to have the eight- generation growing up on the property.
Using rotational grazing, the farm rotates cows to different section of grass after every milking. This process uses the rocky landscape to the farm’s advantage and minimizes feed expenses.
High quality milk and cow comfort is paramount to Long Delite. The family is heavily tied to the community and volunteers with multiple organizations including the Washington County Farm Bureau, Washington County Ag Expo and Fair and Washington County Ag Land Preservation Board to name a few.
Long Delite Farm welcomes the community to experience agriculture by taking a tour. These tours provide a chance to connect, educate and inspire fellow ag enthusiasts and consumers.
